Disneyland Paris Re-Opening – Everything You Need To Know

The happiest place in the world is opening its gates once again. However, not everything is quite how you may remember it, which is why we’re here to let you know what’s going on. Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios Park will be opening on June 17th. The Disney Village will also be re-opening so you won’t have to worry about not being able to grab some new Disney merch or get a bite to eat. However only one Disney Hotel is reopening on the 17th which is Newport Bay.

Check out the new ride: Cars Road Trip

There is a new addition to the parks which will be there for the grand reopening: Cars Road Trip. This exciting new ride, which replaces the iconic Studio Tram Tour which closed on 5th January 2020. Just before the pandemic hit, which gave the Imagineer time to work on the brand-new ride whilst the park has been shut due to Coronavirus. Visitors will get to experience the story of the Pixar classic like never before in this exclusive ride which is now only in the Paris Studio Park. Guests join Lighting McQueen & Mater on a trip down Route 66 and they might just hit some trouble on their adventures.

Are you looking to plan a trip but your go-to hotel isn’t open yet?

Here are all the dates for when the rest of the Disney hotels will be reopening. Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel on June 21, Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne on July 1 and Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch on July 13. However these are subject to the continued evolution of the situation.

We’re so excited for the opening The Art Of Marvel Hotel on the 21st June. Taking over one of Disney’s most iconic hotels the ‘New York’, we know that this is going to be awesome replacement. It is styled as a New York art gallery which is why the entire hotel features some of the most amazing Marvel inspired art, we’ve ever seen. This 4-star hotel is going to be a huge hit and what a perfect place to stay if you’re visiting for a trip to the new Avengers Campus (opening date TBC).

Disneyland Paris

You can still meet all your favourite Disney characters too. There are some new Selfie-Spots as well which is great to be able to get a new experience from when you may have last visited. If you aren’t aware then character meeting has changed post-pandemic. You can only take selfies with the characters at a distance in the specific spots. Also there is still no return of character dining (heart break emoji).

Another few important points for your post-pandemic trip to Disneyland Paris.

  • Mask wearing is mandatory at all times in the time, unless you are exempt.
  • There are no fireworks or parades at the moment, due to the crowds that would gather if they were to be on.
  • If you are planning on visiting the park then you must book a park pass, for your chosen day. This is due to Disneyland Paris currently opening as a lower capacity.

With all that in mind, we think you’re all good to go! Get back to the parks and feel that magic again. We can’t wait to get back and make sure that if you take a trip with any VeryNeko goodies, tag us so we can see your adventures!
